Our hotel is firmly committed to integrating environmental concerns into all its operations.

We are aware of our responsibility towards the planet and the community we belong to.

We have therefore drawn up this environmental charter to formalise our commitments and to make our whole team, our partners, our suppliers and our guests aware of the importance of protecting the environment.

Team awareness and training

Specific training: our environmental manager receives ongoing training on sustainable tourism, environmental protection and corporate social responsibility.

Continuous awareness: we are committed to regularly informing and educating our teams on environmental issues through training and internal meetings. Our teams are trained in the eco-friendly practices to apply in their daily tasks. We encourage our staff to use green mobility — bicycle, public transport, walking — for their daily commute.

Saving water and energy

Optimising resources: we are committed to optimising the use of water and energy in our facilities, by adopting efficient technologies and encouraging responsible behaviour from our teams and our guests.

All our lighting is LED, which saves energy while offering the same comfort to our guests. We have installed presence detectors and timers in common areas and corridors to limit energy waste. We have fitted pressure reducers on taps and showers so as not to deplete the resource.

Reducing waste: we have introduced concrete measures to reduce water and energy waste, by monitoring our consumption and making our teams aware of responsible use. We read our water and electricity meters every month to manage consumption more effectively.

Limiting waste

Reduction at source: we strive to minimise waste production by favouring reusable, recyclable or biodegradable packaging wherever possible.

We work mainly with bulk products for our breakfast buffet, or with large formats, to limit unnecessary packaging.

We offer refillable Ecopump toiletries in order to reduce packaging waste. We can also provide other products on request, to better meet our guests' needs.

Waste sorting: we have set up a waste sorting system throughout the hotel to ensure recycling and recovery.

We sort all types of waste — cardboard, paper, plastic, metal, glass — as well as biowaste, which is collected by a specialist company that recovers it. We encourage our guests to sort their waste too, with collection points available in the hotel.

Responsible purchasing and local suppliers

Giving priority to local suppliers: we favour local suppliers and regional products in order to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy.

Environmentally friendly products: we favour the purchase of environmentally friendly products, giving priority to eco-labels and choosing sustainable options.

Communicating with guests

Transparent information: we communicate our environmental commitments to our guests transparently.

Encouraging participation: we encourage our guests to adopt eco-responsible practices during their stay by providing information on the actions they can take — waste sorting, green mobility, everyday eco-gestures.

We provide our guests with information about local flora and fauna. We also offer alternatives to limit car journeys: bicycle hire, public transport and shuttle services.

And much more:

We regularly support local reuse centres by donating our equipment and furniture whenever possible.

We are committed to reducing our CO2 emissions by favouring sustainable modes of transport and investing in more environmentally friendly technologies.

We recognise that this charter is a living commitment, and we undertake to review it periodically to adapt it to technological developments and to best environmental practice.

We are determined to work together for a more sustainable future and to contribute actively to preserving our beautiful planet.
